Bridging the Gap within the CSEA (Part 1.)
This study represents an analysis of the current conditions and offerings of the Center for Southeast Asians. Examinations of light, confidentiality, circulation, air ventilation, materials, and surrounding community identify weaknesses in the current program and offer strategies for improvement. The study also investigates the generational gap between refugees and their child ren within the Southeast Asian community, as well as the changing needs of this community in the future.
The goal of the study and of the resulting intervention is a Center for Southeast Asians that invites communication across generations and with the neighborhood in a safe and welcoming environment.
